Letting GO

In this compelling anthology, 30 authors from ten countries are attempting to let go of shoulds, fears, anger, obsessions, dreams, friends, loved ones, memories, places, and who they thought they were or might be.

In her essay, Lionheart, Maria Ostrowski explores letting go of grief and fear, coping with her brother's battle with schizophrenia.

“This is a love story that begins on Friday the 13th in March. A rather ominous day to start a love story, but then these are dark days.” —from Play With Me by Maria Ostrowski

Teaching Artist

As a teaching artist for The Bushnell’s PARTNERS program, I’ve had the pleasure of sharing my love of writing with young people since 2013.

Over the years, I’ve enjoyed leading poetry workshops at The Greater Hartford Arts Academy and The Aerospace and Engineering Academy’s creativity day, and teaching a poetry program at West Middle School in Hartford, CT during National Poetry Month.
